About PriceDesk Hub
PriceDesk Hub is an independent reference site that collects and organises the pricing information business software vendors publish about themselves. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or resellers for any vendor listed on this site.
Why this site exists
Buying business software usually starts with a question that nobody answers directly: what does it cost? For a large share of B2B software the official answer is "contact sales". That is not accidental. Vendors price on volume, contract length and negotiation, so a single public rate card would either mislead small buyers or hand competitors a benchmark. The practical effect is that the first honest number often arrives weeks into a sales process, after you have already spent time on demos and internal approvals.
The useful middle ground is narrow but real: publish exactly what the vendor publishes, in one place, with the date it was retrieved — and when a vendor publishes nothing, say that clearly instead of filling the gap with a plausible-looking guess.
What we do
We read vendor pricing pages and pull out the parts that are not negotiable: plan names and structure, the billing metric, what a free tier actually includes, which modules cost extra, and any fees that are easy to miss. Then we restate them in plain English.
What we do not do
- We do not invent prices. If no source states a number, we do not print one.
- We do not publish "average" or "typical" figures as though they were quotes.
- We do not provide quotes — only the vendor can price their product.
- We do not rank or review products against each other, because we have not tested them.
- We do not sell software, and the pages currently published carry no affiliate links.
The billing models you will run into
Most of the confusion in software pricing comes from the metric rather than the number. The common patterns are:
- Per user or per seat — the familiar model, but the definition of a user varies. Some vendors count only people who log in; others count everyone who can.
- Per device or per endpoint — common in endpoint security. An asset inventory is the only way to forecast this accurately.
- Per mailbox — common in email security. Mailbox count and headcount are not the same number, and confusing them is an expensive mistake.
- Usage-based — billed on interactions, events, API calls or records processed. Requires you to forecast your own volume before you can budget.
- Credit-based — you buy a balance and spend it across capabilities at published rates. Flexible, but the effective cost depends entirely on how you use it.
- Platform fee plus per user — a base charge that scales with organisation size, on top of a per-seat rate. Always ask for the total, not the rate.
How we label numbers
Every figure on this site falls into one of three buckets and is labelled where it appears: vendor-published, public third-party (from procurement listings, reseller price lists or analyst research), or not available. Third-party figures are useful for budgeting and nothing else — they are not offers.
Editorial standards
- Nothing here is sponsored. Vendors cannot buy placement or edit a page.
- Every page names its source and the date that source was retrieved.
- When a figure is uncertain or the vendor's wording is ambiguous, we say so on the page rather than quietly picking one reading.
- Corrections are welcome and, where a substantive error is confirmed, noted on the page.
Accuracy and corrections
Software pricing changes often and without notice. Every page states the date its source was retrieved, and that date is the most important thing to check before relying on a figure. If you spot something out of date, email us and we will re-check the source.
Trademarks
Vendor and product names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. They appear on this site only to identify the product being described. Use of a name does not imply endorsement in either direction.
