What we can help with
- Correcting a figure that has changed since we retrieved the source.
- Pointing out a plan, add-on fee or billing detail we missed.
- Reporting a source link that no longer works.
- Requesting coverage of a vendor that is not listed yet.
What we cannot help with
- Quotes. Only the vendor can price their own product. We publish what is public; we cannot obtain a negotiated rate for you.
- Sales, implementation or support questions about a vendor's software. Those need to go to the vendor directly — we are a reference site, not a reseller.
- Negotiation on your behalf. Our pages describe the levers buyers commonly use; we do not act as your agent.
- Account issues with any product listed here. We have no access to vendor systems.
Before you email: two quick checks
Most pricing questions we receive are answered by information already on the page, so these two checks will usually save you a round trip:
- Look at the retrieval date. It sits near the bottom of every page, next to the source link. If the vendor has changed prices since that date, our figure will be out of date and the vendor's pricing page is the authoritative source.
- Check whether the price is even published. Some vendors we cover publish no prices at all. In those cases the page shows the official figure where one exists and clearly labels third-party estimates, because there is no vendor rate card to report.
Reporting a correction
A correction is much faster to verify if your email includes four things:
- The URL of the page on this site that is wrong.
- The figure as currently shown on our page.
- The figure you believe is correct.
- A link to the vendor page or document that supports the new figure, and the date you checked it.
With those four items we can usually re-check and update within a few days. Without a supporting link we may not be able to verify the change, because we do not publish figures we cannot source.
Requesting a vendor
If you want a vendor covered, tell us which product and which pricing question is actually blocking you — for example whether it is the plan structure, the billing metric or an add-on fee. That helps us prioritise, and it tells us what the page needs to answer.
Questions we get often
Can you tell me what a vendor actually quoted us?
No. We only know what the vendor publishes publicly. Negotiated pricing is specific to your volume, term and leverage, and it is not something an outside site can see.
Why does your figure differ from another site's?
Usually one of three reasons: the other site is quoting a list price while the vendor has since changed it, the other site is quoting a reseller or regional price rather than the vendor's own, or one of us is counting a different billing unit — per mailbox versus per employee is the classic case. Check the retrieval date and the source link on our page, and compare the billing metric before comparing the number.
Are the prices on your pages including tax?
Prices are reproduced as the vendor states them. Most vendors in this space quote excluding tax, and none of our pages add tax, currency conversion or local levies. If tax treatment matters to your budget, confirm it with the vendor.
How do you decide which vendors to cover?
Two things: whether buyers are actively searching for the vendor's pricing, and whether there is something genuinely knowable to publish — a published rate card, an official document with figures, or a clear statement that pricing is quote-only. A vendor that publishes nothing and has no official figures is not useful to cover, because the page would contain no information.
Response times
This is a small independent site, not a staffed support desk. Corrections with a source link are handled first. We may not reply to every message, but every correction is read.
